Check out my new abstract gallery. This set of images formed part of a commission to provide some artwork for a new build hospital.
Rather than choosing traditional artwork, it was felt that a series of abstract pieces that represented the hospital visually was more appropriate.
Images were taken of recognisable parts of the building so that visitors could identify external elements of the hospital.
The colour saturation of the images was increased to make the images 'pop' against the fairly neutral and clinical background inside.
The four square images of the large louvres on top of the structure were installed together in a square configuration to form a single group of images for the atrium.
This set of images were taken on my Leica Q camera with the its superb fixed 28mm lens.
